Meet our Doctors

Dr. W. Samuel Ashley was born and raised in Yazoo City, Mississippi.  He earned a Bachelor of Science from Mississippi State University.  He attended Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tenn., where he received his Doctor of Optometry degree in 1980. After graduation, he and his wife Carolyn moved to Vicksburg and began practicing at The Vision Clinic. 

Dr. Ashley is known for his gentle manner, patience and thorough eye examinations.  He is a member of the American Optometric Association, as well as a member and past officer of the Mississippi Optometric Association.  He is the father of Dr. Miles Ashley of Vicksburg and Will Ashley of Oxford.  He is a member of Crawford Street Methodist Church and has been active in the community through the years.

Dr. Miles Ashley followed in his father's footsteps in 2013 joining his father in practice at The Vision Clinic. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Biological  Sciences from Mississippi State University and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Southern College of Optometry receiving a Doctor of Optometry degree in 2013. 

Dr. Miles Ashley and his wife Blair are proud parents of a son, Walker, and a daughter, Kate.  They attend St. Paul's Catholic Church.  He is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Mississippi Optometric Association.

Dr. Aimee Kinnebrew joined the practice in August of 2025. 

Dr. Aimee Kinnebrew is a native of Saucier, Mississippi. She graduated from Mississippi College with a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Medical Sciences in 2020, and she completed her Doctorate of Optometry from Southern College of Optometry in 2025. 

 

Dr. Kinnebrew is a member of the American Optometric Association and Mississippi Optometric Association. She lives in Vicksburg with her husband, James Kinnebrew, and their dog, Goose. When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family/friends, doing craft projects, and traveling. Dr. Kinnebrew is proud to share her expertise serving the people of her home state.
